Best Spirituality Book for Depression: “Science and the Near-Death Experience: How Consciousness Survives Death” by Chris Carter

Best Spirituality Book for Depression: Science and the Near-Death Experience: How Consciousness Survives Death, Chris Carter

Sometimes you want a little light reading on spirituality–something to inspire you to keep on keeping on. Other times, you want to get your questions answered. Science and the Near-Death Experience isn’t light, and not particularly inspiring (to me, anyway). But if you want a great treatment of the subject of near-death experiences and deathbed visions, this is your book.

Can this book help me overcome depression?

If the message is what you need–if you’re hoping to boost your belief in a happy afterlife, yes. Otherwise, no.

Does it address depression specifically?

No.

To what degree do you think this book can help me overcome depression?

As a book to help you overcome depression, I give it a 1 on a scale of 1-10. But for other people, it could rate much higher.

Where can I find it?
