Best Spirituality Book for Depression: Hermitage Among the Clouds by Thich Nhat Hanh
Hermitage Among the Clouds is the simply and clearly written thoughts of a Zen Buddhist master on the practice of mindfulness meditation and other topics.

This is one of those books.

Can this book help me overcome depression?
Does it address depression specifically? What does it say that can help?
No. However, meditation is proven to help many people overcome depression. And this book is a beautiful, nonjudgmental treatment of it. Reading Thich Nhat Hanh is like being with Thich Nhat Hanh, which is way better than being with someone who thinks they have the best specific meditation process for you, if only you’d listen carefully and apply it exactly.
