Best Spirituality Book for Depression: The Child Whisperer: The Ultimate Handbook for Raising Happy, Successful, and Cooperative Children by Carol Tuttle

Parenting books aren’t really in the scope of this blog. But I just had to include this one. It’s not really a parenting book as much as a book about discovering your authentic self.

Can this book help me overcome depression?

I think so, yes. If it helps you embrace and understand yourself better, as it did me.

Does it address depression specifically? What does it say that can help?

No. The book describes four main personality types: wind, water, fire and earth. Wind people are dreamers. Water people are calm and meticulous. Fire people are doers, and earth people are perfectionists. I’ve found this to be the most interesting and helpful personality breakdown I’ve ever come across.

To what degree do you think it can help me overcome depression?

Depression effectiveness rating: 3 on a scale of 1-10

Where can I find it?
