Best Spirituality Book for Depression: Dressing Your Truth: Discover Your Type of Beauty by Carol Tuttle
Carol Tuttle has such a winning concept here. I wish this book was much more well-known.
Can this book help me overcome depression?
I think so, yes. If it helps you embrace and understand yourself better, as it did me.
Does it address depression specifically? What does it say that can help?
No. The book describes four main personality types: wind, water, fire and earth. Wind people are dreamers. Water people are calm and meticulous. Fire people are doers, and earth people are perfectionists. I’ve found this to be the most interesting and helpful personality breakdown I’ve ever come across. It talks a bit about how to dress in a way that reflects your type, too, though not in great detail.
To what degree do you think it can help me overcome depression?
