Life Hack for Getting Suddenly Awesome: Go Outside

best-books-for-mystics-16

One of my favorite things in the world is fresh air. Certainly, it is my favorite smell. I live in Seattle, where there is often an after-the-rain fragrance and sometimes I put my nose against the window screen and breathe it in as deeply as I can.

Sometimes I even go outside.

Not often enough, but sometimes.

And I never regret it.

So. My happiness tip of the day: listen to your mother. “Get some fresh air.”

Go outside.

“Every child begins the world again, to some extent, and loves to stay outdoors, even in wet and cold.” –Ralph Waldo Emerson

You’ve been on the spiritual path for a good while now. You’ve read the books. Maybe even met a guru or two. Sometimes, though, you need a different kind of inspiration. Inspiration from someone who knows how hard this inner peace stuff really is.

  1. Good tip.
Don’t forget to go outside at night time too when there is an abundance of negatively charged-ions in the air. Get some deep breaths!
