Life Hack for Getting Suddenly Awesome: Get Divorced

From a story I’m working on:

“I am so happy to have been married and divorced. I recommend it, actually.

Before I was married, I wanted to be perfect. I wanted a man to find me, but I wouldn’t look for him, because that would not be perfect. But after I got married and then divorced I realized that I could make mistakes and it would be okay.

I stopped trying to be perfect. I stopped waiting for life to just happen. I indulged myself.

I looked for Peter, and I found him.”

So. My happiness tip of the day: Make mistakes. Then correct them.

Heck: get divorced.

Inspiration from the other side.

You’ve been on the spiritual path for a good while now. You’ve read the books. Maybe even met a guru or two. Sometimes, though, you need a different kind of inspiration. Inspiration from someone who knows how hard this inner peace stuff really is.
